(כב) אַל תִּגְזׇל דָּל כִּי דַל הוּא וְאַל תְּדַכֵּא עָנִי בַשָּׁעַר. (כג) כִּי י"י יָרִיב רִיבָם וְקָבַע אֶת קֹבְעֵיהֶם נָפֶשׁ: This morning (9/28/22), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we analyzed an odd couplet of pesukim. The hava amina in the first pasuk is exceedingly strange, as is the reason given in the second pasuk. We developed our own approach which was similar enough to an approach I wrote up in 2018, based on Rabbeinu Yonah's commentary.
