שׁוּחָה עֲמֻקָּה פִּי זָרוֹת, זְעוּם י"י [יִפׇּל] (יפול) שָׁם: This morning (9/8/22), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we began by reviewing yesterday's pasuk, dividing it into three clear readings, and then attempting to uncover an idea from each. We developed an idea about the literal reading (i.e. that it's talking about an actual woman) based on Rabbeinu Yonah, and rushed through an idea about the allegorical reading (i.e. that it's talking about heretical philosophy) based on Metzudas David and Malbim, but we didn't have time to get to the third approach.
