עֵינֵי יי נָצְרוּ דָעַת וַיְסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי בֹגֵד: This morning (6/14/22), in our Morning Mishlei shiur, we took another pass at yesterday's pasuk. I'm not gonna lie: today was the most frustratingly difficult day of Mishlei learning all year. For me, at least. I've given 140 recorded Mishlei shiurim this year alone, and never once have we failed to arrive at least ONE solid idea - until today. We had half-baked ideas, intuitions, and even solid leads from the meforshim, but nothing that made me feel like I can say, "Here's a good explanation of this pasuk." I'm going to try to see if I can find SOMETHING promising for tomorrow. Either way, we'll move on to the next pasuk.
