זֵד יָהִיר לֵץ שְׁמוֹ עוֹשֶׂה בְּעֶבְרַת זָדוֹן: This morning (3/2/22), in our Morning Mishlei shiur, we learned the pasuk which explicitly defines the Mishleic personality of the leitz (scoffer). I've learned and taught this pasuk dozens of times, and I was hoping for a new insight. Thankfully, that's exactly what we got, thanks to the thinking of two of our talmidim: one who interpreted yesterday's pasuk, and another who interpreted today's pasuk in light of that idea. This is already a contender for my favorite Mishlei shiur of the 2021-2022 year. For maximum impact, listen to yesterday's shiur: Mishlei 21:23 - Guarding Your Mouth, Tongue, and Soul (Part 2). https://rabbischneeweiss.substack.com/
