Opening the Torah anew (Bereshiet) after loss requires a mindset of unity and partnership. The letter Bet (ב), which starts the Torah, signifies beyachad (togetherness), essential for creation's endurance. Alef (א), symbolizing individualism (ani), leads to curse. Our collective strength and solidarity are the key to recovery and a renewed purpose.
