Derashah for Shabbat Chol haMoed Succot 5786: Observing Succot on the cusp of what we daven will be the liberation of the hostages and the safe return home of the miluimnikim and chayalim. Should we call this zman cheiruteinu or zman simchateinu? What do these terms mean?
