פַּלְגֵי מַיִם לֶב מֶלֶךְ בְּיַד י״י עַל כׇּל אֲשֶׁר יַחְפֹּץ יַטֶּנּוּ: This morning (10/27/21) we began a new chapter with a zinger of a pasuk. The pasuk implies that Hashem controls the hearts of kings, which would appear to undermine the foundational principle of bechirah (free will). Today we attempted to understand the pasuk on our own.
