Description

This is a shiur about whether or not there are limitations on the power of tefillah. On one hand, there is a problem with davening for something that has already taken place. Similarly, davening for a miracle can be problematic. Yet, there is an extraordinary power of tefillah that can overturn a decree from Hashem. Therefore, this shiur analyzes the question of whether or not it is appropriate to daven for a medical treatment to work if it is very unlikely to work from a scientific, medical perspective.
