This shiur discusses the Halacha to not daven Shemona Esrai out loud. The potential exception to this rule is the shemona esrai of the Yamim Nora'im. The shiur discusses the status of the tefilla of the Yamim Nora'im as being a tefilla during a time of tzara. Additionally, hashkafic concepts related to leadership and being a light among the nations are discussed as well.
