Throughout Yonah there are different models of relating to Hashem on display. Generally, we focus on Yonah’s complex relationship with Hashem but there is also much to learn from the people of Ninveh and the sailors. This essay will explore these three relationships models and will also look at how the use of Hashem’s name in the text can help highlight these different approaches.
