רַע רַע יֹאמַר הַקּוֹנֶה וְאֹזֵל לוֹ אָז יִתְהַלָּל: This morning (6/7/21) we learned one of those pesukim that elicits an immediate, "So what?" reaction upon first reading. In this case, our pasuk seemed to describe the standard and innocuous business practice of haggling over merchandise. The more we delved into our analysis, the more we recognized why Shlomo ha'Melech had to call our attention to this behavior, since the decision-making ramifications are too subtle to be noted by the average person.
