(ה) גֶּבֶר חָכָם בַּעוֹז וְאִישׁ דַּעַת מְאַמֶּץ כֹּחַ. (ו) כִּי בְתַחְבֻּלוֹת תַּעֲשֶׂה לְּךָ מִלְחָמָה וּתְשׁוּעָה בְּרֹב יוֹעֵץ: Synopsis: Today (2/14/23) was a BIG day in Mishlei. I almost don't want to title this Day #2 of yesterday's pasuk, but I will because that's technically what it is. We began by reviewing yesterday's many translations, questions, and approaches. We then learned Rabbeinu Yonah whose masterful commentary FURTHER elucidated the definitions of chochmah, tevunah, and daas from the previous two pesukim. There remains a lot of work to be done, and it's possible we'll revisit this on Friday, but for now, I'm just thankful that we were able to gain such clarity from this gem of a Rabbeinu Yonah. ----- https://rabbischneeweiss.substack.com/
