(כט) לְמִי אוֹי לְמִי אֲבוֹי לְמִי [מִדְיָנִים] (מדונים) לְמִי שִׂיחַ לְמִי פְּצָעִים חִנָּם לְמִי חַכְלִלוּת עֵינָיִם. (ל) לַמְאַחֲרִים עַל הַיָּיִן לַבָּאִים לַחְקֹר מִמְסָךְ. Synopsis: This morning (1/5/23), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we took another stab at yesterday's pair of "riddle pesukim." We developed two approaches - one based on what we came up with yesterday, and another approach I came up with years ago. We poked around in some of the other meforshim afterwards, but most of them require the context of the remaining pesukim in the cluster. We DID, however, manage to find a commentary from an illustrious Rishon whom we have never learned on Mishlei before: the Ramban!
