As we continue with our analysis and study of ספר ויקרא, we look at the complete פרשה of the חטאת כהן המשיח and clarify the various surprises in the presentation: the דם being taken into the אהל מועד, the כהן "dipping" his fingers into the דם, the sprinkling of the דם on (or towards) the פרוכת and then daubing it on the four capstones of the golden altar - and then, after the expected placing of the fats on the outer מזבח, the surprising removal of the rest of the animal out of the camp (=out of the city of ירושלים) for burning. We examine the passage in תורת החטאת (ahead, at the end of פרק ו) and discuss the correlation between having the דם come inside and the meat being burned out of the camp.
