דֶּרֶךְ עָצֵל כִּמְשֻׂכַת חָדֶק וְאֹרַח יְשָׁרִים סְלֻלָה: This morning (2/19/25), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we revisited one of the most important Mishleic archetypes: the atzel (lazy person). After encountering a surprising degree of difficulty in reading and translating the pasuk, we reviewed Saadia Gaon's definition of Mishleic laziness and discussed its implications.
