אִישׁ חֵמָה יְגָרֶה מָדוֹן, וְאֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם יַשְׁקִיט רִיב: This morning (2/12/25), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we began analyzing a new pasuk on what appears to be a new topic. We quickly encountered the challenge that crops up in Mishlei quite often: a seemingly obvious statement about an exceedingly broad topic. While it was relatively easy to come up with insights about the relevant phenomena, we had difficulty pinning down the scope of the topic in our pasuk, or even the decision-making scenario.
