בִּקֶּשׁ לֵץ חׇכְמָה וָאָיִן, וְדַעַת לְנָבוֹן נָקָל: This morning (11/2/23), in our morning Mishlei shiur, we continued working on the pasuk we started yesterday and encountered a whole lot of difficulty. Rabbeinu Yonah's approach definitely has potential, and we know this because we learned this pasuk according to him last year. For some reason, we couldn't quite tie it all together. Meiri gave us another approach, which rang true, but didn't really shed light on why the pasuk focuses on a leitz, which was our main question.
