עֹכֵר בֵּיתוֹ יִנְחַל רוּחַ וְעֶבֶד אֱוִיל לַחֲכַם לֵב: Tonight (11/14/22), in our Monday Night Mishlei Shiur, we learned a pasuk which I had never learned before. Man, was it tough! We came up with a few good approaches for the first or second halves of the pasuk, but couldn't develop them into a full idea. We then read Metzudas David's approach, which gave us a full explanation, but left us scratching our heads as to why any single pasuk would combine such a weird variety of particular points.
