We discussed a LOT of methodology, both during and after shiur, including topics such as the difference between Mishlei and Pirkei Avos, the caution needed when attempting to interpret pesukim in a more universal manner than the words suggest, the subtle differences between interpretation and application, and more. Oh, and did I mention we also came up with several interpretations of the actual pasuk which were reflected in the meforshim?
