קֹרֵץ עַיִן יִתֵּן עַצָּבֶת וֶאֱוִיל שְׂפָתַיִם יִלָּבֵט: In our Monday Night Mishlei shiur (12/28/20) we found ourselves confronted with a pasuk whose first half was strange and difficult to translate and whose second half was a verbatim repetition of a pasuk we learned two weeks ago. Needless to say, this led to a TON of methodology questions and insights - more than usual! Thankfully, we also came away with a smooth interpretation that checked all the right boxes. We concluded by comparing our interpretation of this pasuk with the pasuk from two weeks ago to see if we could arrive at any unified understanding of the repeated phrase - and we did! https://rabbischneeweiss.substack.com/
