Description
This is the most important shiur I’ve given. (2/18/20) In it, I attempted to capture and articulate an epistemological upheaval I had recently undergone—triggered by my binge-reading of Barry Lopez’s award-winning wildlife book Of Wolves and Men (1978). I was hesitant to give this shiur, unsure how much value it would hold for those who hadn’t joined me on the wild journey of reading the book. At best, I hoped to convey the insights I gained in a meaningful way; at worst, I feared I’d come across as a lunatic raving about wolves and their connection to Torah study and Jewish practice. I’ll leave it to you to judge my success (or failure). rabbischneeweiss.substack.com
