הבאנו את הגמרא במסכת בבא בתרא דף פ"א. שיש דרשה נפרדת לומר לנו שהמצווה של ביכורים היא רק מארץ ישראל. הגמרא לא מסתמכת על ההלכה של כל מצווה התלויה בארץ אינה נוהגת אלא בארץ. אלא הגמרא מביאה פסוק מיוחד לומר לנו למעוטי חוץ לארץ במצוות ביכורים. אלא שלא ציטטנו את הדרשה בצורה נכונה. הדרשה היא: והא כתיב {דברים כו-ב} אשר תביא מארצך ההוא למעוטי חוצה לארץ והא כתיב {שמות כג-יט} אדמתך למעוטי אדמת עכו''ם.
