Some have the [mistaken] notion that if you daven Mincha before sunset and Maariv right after it, it's בדיעבד, and "more correct" to wait. Actually, there is a SLEW of opinons, in both the Rishonim and Poskim, that say that the cut-off time [according to דרבנן] for Mincha [i.e.- עד הערב] is at SUNSET and thus, you can daven Maariv right after Sunset, INCLUDING [no less then] the Shulchan Aruch/Code of Jewish law
