Nechama Lebowitz and Rav Soloveitchik try to understand why we had to be enslaved in Egypt. Perhaps we use this experience to create a narrative of yetziat mitzrayim to shape our national identity and mission. Maybe we should do the same with October 7th, using Agam Berger's sign in the helicopter after she was freed.
