Description

Exploring the first two perakim of Shmuel - the haftara of the first day of Rosh Hashana - teaches us about so many aspects of tefilla: setting, form, content, avenue, and more. When she realizes she can rely on no one else, Chana is open and raw with Hashem about her pain, and thoughtful and sophisticated in her requests and vision. [This was the closing segment of a machzor shiur given by the 3 rabbanim of Beth Abraham, in advance of Rosh Hashana 5785.]
