Description

According to the Ramban (and others) you are allowed to do a brit milah on Shabbat even if before you do the brit you spill the tub of warm water reserved for washing the baby after. But, if that's the case, then why are you not allowed to do shechita on Yom Tov unless you have dirt prepared for kisui hadam?
