Description

These past few months have seen numerous grassroots initiatives emerge throughout Israel and the Diaspora in both the physical and spiritual realms, from food collection to clothing distribution and from tzitzit tying to the recitation of Tehillim. What is the significance of this synthesis of our physical and spiritual needs come to life? My thoughts on Parshat Tetzaveh and the stones representing the tribes of Yosef and Binyamin on the breastplate of the Kohen Gadol.
