Shiur #12 on the books of Ezra-Nechemiah. In this class, we continue studying Perek 6 of Ezra. We explore Darius' motivation in helping rebuild the Mikdash, the relationship between Hashem and the foreign kings in causing the Mikdash to be rebuilt, and consider how the second Beit HaMikdash both hearkens back to the first Mikdash and anticipates the final redemption.
