In this class, we begin studying Perek 6 of Ezra, which describes how Cyrus' edict permitting the construction of the Beit HaMikdash was rediscovered by Darius (Daryavesh). We also explore how both the initial proclamation and Darius' expansion thereof differ from the original presentation in chapter 1.
