We discuss whether this Mizmor should be read together with Perek 2 of Tehillim, explore the structure and imagery of the chapter (including the popular image of the Tzaddik as a deeply rooted tree), and conclude with an explanation for why this chapter is a proper beginning of Sefer Tehillim.
