Description

In this Shiur, we explored several Halakhic sources which might shed light on the Halakhic status of lab-grown meat. We consider the following questions: 1) May one eat meat created from cells of non-Kosher animals? 2) Can cells be taken from a living animal in order to generate this meat? 3) Would lab-grown meat be fleishigs or pareve? By analyzing a wide variety of potential precedents and arguments, we examine how Poskim think about this complex and novel Halakhic topic.
