Description

Following the horrific sin of the Golden Calf and Moshe's breaking of the Luchot, Hashem commands Moshe that the broken tablets should be placed in the Aron next to the second set of complete tablets. Why would Hashem want us to save these broken tablets, a reminder of our past mistakes? Wouldn't we rather hide these tablets, so that we never see them again?
