Description

The “Frierdiker” sixth Rebbe of Chabad, Rav Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson left behind a staggering legacy. The Rebbe explains that compassionate leadership typified the Frierdiker Rebbe. Unlike many religious Jews and rabbis who rejected the assimilating and secularizing Jews of the 20th century, the Frierdiker Rebbe welcomed them, and would do them acts of physical and material kindness without analyzing their religious shortcomings. The Rebbe explains that this is true Jewish leadership, and a perspective we can all embody. Likkutei Sichos Chelek Aleph Yud Shvat sec. 12-17
