Description

Hashem tells the Jews to take sheep for the Korban Pesach a few days before the Korban must be brought. During this time, the Jews had to stand up to the Egyptians and openly declare that they were going to slaughter the Egyptian deity. The Rebbe explains that this teaches us a timeless attitude of fearlessly and intensely expressing our faith even in the face of opposition from the dominant culture.
