Description

Yaacov's dream in this weeks parsha opens a series of parshiyot where dreams play a large role in the general narrative. The concept of dreams also refers to one's hopes and aspirations for one's future. As young children, we tend to dream big and allow our imaginations to run wild. As we get older, the tendency to dream big fades and reality sets in. How should parents relate to the dreams of our child? Should we encourage them to dream big, or would it be better for us to keep them grounded in reality?
