Description

Wednesday Night Nach --- Yonah adamantly refuses teshuva through the end of perek 1, yet he willingly follows Divine instructions at the beginning of perek 3. What changed? The mysterious, little-studied perek 2 can teach us about Yonah and about our own teshuva potential. Themes explored include humility, bitachon, hitting rock bottom, optimism based on partial Divine assistance, expanding one's perspective, seeing the past differently in retrospect.
