In this shiur we will discuss the Ramban on כל האזרח regarding נשים וגרים. Why do we need a מיעוט to exclude women since Sukka is a classical מ"ע שהז"ג? Why do we need a רבוי to include converts since they share the mitzvot of all Jews? We derive from the Tur's explanation as to why Sukkot is in the month of Tishrei that Sukka entails a קיום פרסומי ניסא & since the ancestors of the converts did not experience the miracle we would have excluded the גרים. As far as נשים we suggest 5 reasons why women SHOULD be obligated in Sukka. After the מיעוט of האזרח do women have any connection to the mitzva of Sukka or do we reject all five reasons?
