For Masechet Shabbat 72b & Keritut 19a on the sugya of: מתעסק בשבת ובכל התורה, we will study Rashi & Rabenu Tam. After presenting the objections of Rabenu Tam, we will see that Rashi has a consistent view and the objections of R' Tam are not justified. We will present a number of different definitions of מתעסק. One, Abaye, the combination of three conditions; Two, Rava, ONLY TWO CONDITIONS MUST BE MET; Three, Shmuel, only one condition must be met.
