The gemara (Yoma 9b) teaches that the second beis hamikdash was destroyed as a result of sinas chinam between the Jewish people. From this we understand that one of the ways to rebuild the Beis Hamikdash is through loving our fellow Jew. Why is that difficult for us, and how could we develop such positive feelings for others ?
