Description

We will move quickly from Masechet Nidah 14a to the Psak Halacha as codified in Yoreh Deah siman #190. We will study the Tur and his understanding of his father the Rosh. The Bach and the Beis Yosef clarify the Tur, and the Beis Yosef quotes the Rashba verbatim. The view of the Rashba is presented by the Mechaber in the first opinion. We will spend the bulk of the shiur on the radical psak of the Taz. We will study the critique of the Sidrei Tahara and suggest a possible defense for the Taz.
