In this Hashkafa shiur for Parshas Shelach based on the Sefer המה ינחמוני, we will present a new approach to the sin of the Meraglim, the argument of כלב, & how we are meant to rectify that sin. This is not the classical approach that the sin of the people was a lack of Emuna in Hashem. But rather a presentation built upon a particular understanding of human psychology and how it played out in the case of the Jewish nation that had just recently left Mitzrayim. One of the aspects of this presentation is the Middah of ענוה, humility. When is it positive and in place, when is it disqualified?
