Description

The Mishna in Masechet Avot 6:6 compares Malchus (30), Kehuna (24), and Torah (48). In this shiur, largely based on the Maharal, we will try to understand these numbers. What items are denumeration and make up these numbers? Is there a difference between "מעלות" and "מצוות"? And why - with respect to Toah - "דברים"? Can we divide the Mikdash into three parts, each represents respectively Kehuna, Malchus, and Torah? Cab we find the appropriate numbers, 24, 30, and 48, alluded to in these three parts of the Mikdash?
