Description
We will study the Mishna in Masechet Avot 5:17 and address the question: can we accept the view of Shamai against Hillel? What does the Mishna mean when it says that the respective opinions of Hillel & Shamai will 'ultimately persist'? We will attempt at understanding the unique approach of the Ari Zal to this Mishna and the difference between the world as we know it today and the world at the end of days and the times of the Mashiach.
