For Ketuvot 22b-23a more on contradictory testimonies regarding the status of a woman for marriage. Under what circumstances do we allow her to get married? Do we prohibit marriage? Do we break up the marriage when she went ahead and got married someone else? What would be the basis for a distinction between the following scenarios: contradictory testimonies on the death of her husband or contradictory testimonies regarding the Get, i.e. did she receive a גט or did she not? In the latter part of this shiur we will discuss cases where a woman was believed because of הפה שאסר and subsequently witness came and testified and she no longer has that claim to credibility? E. g. they testified that she was taken into captivity. Can she marry a כהן?
