This is a Parsha & Hashkafa shiur for Tazria. Our theme is facing the challenges of the human situation & why the Torah combines birth with Tumas לידה. We will address the question of the name of this Parsha which seems to be disconnected from the bulk of the Parsha, namely, Tumas Tzara'as. We will try to understand the role of the Cedar in the purification of the Metzorah. Why does Hashem seek to give the Torah on a mountain rather than in a valley? Who is better off, one who is challenged raising a rebellious child, or one who is childless? the struggle with the inclination to do evil. The challenge of bad Midos. What is the connection between arrogance (גאוה) and Lashon HaRa? these and other questions will be addressed in this shiur.
