Description

Hashkafa for Beshalach: the greatest moment of the Jewish national encounter with God, reached its culmination with the three words of the shira (song): זה קלי ואנוהו. We seek to present the many statements of chazal interpreting these three words and deriving practical laws that regulate Jewish behavior. Can we integrate these various statements & derivations into an integral whole? We attempt to find one central idea which connects all the above into a single theme. We will base ourselves on an essay authored by the המה ינחמוני.
