Description

This Hashkafa shiur for Parshas Bo, based on the insights of the Sefer המה ינחמוני, is divided into two parts. One, Klal Yisrael at the time of Yetzias Mitzrayim, are compared to the גפן, and their relationship to Hashem is compared to נישואין. Why are Marriage & the grapes of the Vine the symbols of Israel & the redemption from Mitzrayim? How is the vine symbolic of the ideal marriage relationship? What is the most critical ingredient in a happy marriage? Which attribute is a prerequisite for Israel accepting the Torah at Har Sinai? Two, the uniqueness of the Mitzva of Tefillin. Many statements of Chazal and many Halachos in Tefillin, put Tefillin into a category of its own and tefillin become the paradigm of all 613 mitzvos. Why?
