Description

In the middle of Parashat Bo, the Torah abruptly shifts from narrative to law. An introduction to the presentation of Law in the Torah is given, with some of the broad principles of that presentation - and then a great exception to those principles - the four mentions of the Mitzvah to educate our children about Yetziat Mitzrayim. The Midrash Halakhah of the "Four Sons" is presented "bottom-up", following the presumed observations, questions and conclusions of the Ba'alei haMidrash.
