In this Parsha & Hashkafa shiur largely based on the insights of the Maharal MiPrag, we will investigate the significance of the donkey of all ages as well as the phrase: רוכב על החמור. Chazal establish that this donkey re-appears throughout history, Avraham to the Akeida, Moshe from Midyan to Mitzrayim, and ultimately the Moshiach to Yerushalayim. In fact this donkey was created at the beginning of creation! What is the significance of this animal? What does it symbolize? How it it different than the אתון of Bilam?
