Description

Parshat & Hashkafa for Shemot: The responsibility of parents to educate their children. Moshe is elected to play the role of the head of the Nation. Until that point in time leadership meant 'head of family'. What environment produced such a great leader? Why was it necessary to have baby Moshe nursed by a Hebrew woman rather than an Isha Mitzris. This will teach us a basic principle in the laws of Chinuch even as the education impacts upon the soul of a young child. One opinion has it that Elisha ben Avuya was impacted when - as a fetus - his Mother enjoyed the aroma of Avoda Zara. How does observance of the laws of Tahara (Mikve) impact upon the fetus born? The impact of Parents on the premature baby during the period of incubation.
